I thank you all for your feedback on the book of the great coach. I have gone through each of them, and apologise for not having been able to respond to each on your post. I had expressed my views, and appreciate the same expressed by most of you. However, would request you to not abuse anyone. One has all rights to criticize someone’s thought but its unfair to use abusive language.
As children read this blog, request you to refrain from using unparliamentarily language.
Its has been a killer of last couple of days. London to Mumbai to Delhi to Chennai to Madurai to Rameshwaram retun to Madurai, Chennai and Delhi. And further to home in Jhallandhur.
Destiny is the word which comes to my mind, the reason behind all the travel seen.
Courtesy a last minute confirmation for a work related shoot which had me calling all the way from London to Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu. The shoot also featured fellow Indian Cricketer Shreesanth.
It seems, I was destined and called by the power’s of Rameshwaram, one of the four dhams of India.. The other dhams being- Puri is Orrisa, Badrinath in North and Dwarka in Gujrat.
The almighty Rameshwaram is a legend in itself. I am told Rameshwaram is the place from where Lord Rama, built a bridge across the sea to rescue his consort Sita, from her abductor, Ravana. This is also the place where Rama worshipped Lord Shiva to cleanse away the sin of killing Ravana. There are two linga’s in the main temple. 1) Made by Goddess Sita with her own hands and 2) Brought by Lord Hanuman
Belief in all religion and paying homage is something we as cricketer’s are always learning. Cricket exposes us to so many religion and so many culture’s. I firmly believe our Indian Cricket Team is a true representation of the secular identity of our country. A symbol of pluralism in modern day India.
It astounded me that I was standing just 25 km away from Sri Lanka by boat, and at the extreme end of South of India.
Unfortunately, I am unable to disclose more on the shoot due professional reasons.
Destiny had me and Sreesanth visiting and paying homage to Lord Rameshwara. I feel after what had happened at the IPL last year, this has been redemption in front of God for both of us. We all commit mistakes, we are his children and we are all in universal brotherhood.
Shenta (Nickname for Shreesanth), was narrating his story of his unique connection with Lord Shiva since his childhood days, when fighting an ailment his parents vowed to Lord Shiva for his life and then on his recovery owed his life to the Lord.
The bond is indeed unique which Shenta and I share. And let me clear it once again, he has always been close to me. There are some happy memories spend together in the dressing room and it was good to have him around and together visiting the holy temple. I await his return to the Indian team sometime soon. Like I told him, he has to play well in the domestic games and he can be playing for India again.
Looking forward to be home soon, eat home made food. Its actually been sooooo long.
I shall write to you soon on two major surprise for me
1) My Dream Car
2) My Dream Home
Keep visisiting for more..
This long break between tournaments will help me connect with each of you and write more often.
Cheers friends..

Wow it is a great feeling to be the first one to post the comments………
It was great to read your blog which help to know you better as a person. It is really very good that you have a belief in all religions which only few people understand in this busy world.
On this I remebered one well known quote ” True religion is in real living, living with all one’s soul, with all one’s goodness and righteousness”.
Good to read that you and shreesanth share an unique bond.
It is always better to forgive and forget and move ahead in life.
Welcome Back to India.
Do keep on writing.

Bhajji,
Good post paaji!
You are a very different person than what the media portrays as in their articles.
Please do write how you and others in the cricket team deal with baseless drama caused by the stupid India media who look only for chatpata masala news than actual credible news nowadays.
Hope your next IPL season is good and Mumbai Indians win the tourney.
Also are you on Twitter or Facebook?
Hi Bhajji,
I am from Chennai. Hope you enjoyed your stay at Rameswaram. It is the birth place of our ex-president Abdul kalam. Being a muslim he learned extensively about Hinduism there.
Glad to know that you have patched up with Shreeshanth. It’s true that Indian Cricket team is a true reflection of the pluralism of our great country.

I am a big fan of yours from Chennai…..

hi bahji
u r really ideal for today’s generation
hats of 2 u
Hi Bhaji it is nice But i hav some thing to say….pls read it
I m dipesh.i m following cricket since 1992(when i was just 8 yrs old).I hardly miss a match since than spacialy india’s even i do not like to miss a Test .I m ur big fan since THE HISTORIC WIN vs Aus.I think u r a big match winner. In absence of kumble u hav big responsbility nd no dout u performed.
But now it is very taugh for me to tell my frnds nd anyone that i m ur fan because of ur negligence towards the National Award—NOT ANY acuse can be acceptable for that.May be it is very litle thing for u but it is big thing for ur fan nd Indian.I think it is insult of ther country. It prove that u all new cricketer(not all) hav not respact for ur country. You all r not playing for ur country but only for money(I knw it is not true but it seems like that).
I hope you all spacialy you must show some respect for ur county nd ur senier(schine, sorav, rahul nd anil).Every fan of u will like it.
I m not aspecting it frm MS Dhoni because he has no respect for his senier
He has only respect for money nd advertiesment.I also hope that u insure us( ur fans) that u never do a mistak like that
Sorry for any hard word nd sentances.
ur BIG FAN

Nice site. go to my favorites. TNx
Bhajji bhaji u are the best. If i am not wrong, ur dream house is in sector 9, Chandigarh??
Hi Bhajji,
Tussi great ho!!! You are the best example of the person who has shown such a mental toughness against the arrogant Aussie . Winning and losing is the part and parcel of the game. However i felt that Indian batting was a dismay in the high profile tournament like World Cup T20.
Bhajji we want more agression from you guys and more passion .
Keep up the good job Bhajji, and please do reply .
Thanks
Poojan
hi bhajji , i think that blog is right medium to give answers to others and also useful in removing burden . I would be very thankfull to u that u read my comment . let’s game continue ——–tapinder

Bhajji! congratz on getting your dream hummer! black one is it?
where’s the party for us buddy?
its ridiculous how you cannot accept WADA code. sportsman like roger federer, tiger woods, lance armstrong etc have no problem with it and for some reason indian cricketers find it invasion of privacy. Thats the worst excuse ever. Indian cricketers are proving again how spoiled they are. Situations like this and your threat to leave after sydney test make and millions others embarassed to be followers of indian cricket
will certainly try and do something for her..in the meantime please convey my wishes to her..with the Grace of Waheguru she should alright soon
awesome bhajji………….u r a real hero………
