Just woke up a while back, trying to adjust to the jet lag from West Indies. I have taken a short vacation in the UK visiting family here. Its been quite a hectic last few months for all of us, was a good consolation to win the ODI series against West Indies.
I was reading sms’s from my manager- Sangeet, who asked me to have a look at what the greatest coach of an IPL team of all times had mentioned in his just released book.
I read through the comments on a online news portal. The great coach indeed had some great comments to make, just like his great coaching methods.
I am not surprised at this. Infact anything coming out of Australia does not surprise me anymore.
It just shows how much they love me and keep thinking about me in their minds and hearts.
Anyways, whatever is happening in Australia just shows how much love and respect they have for us.
This is not the first time an Australian has showered his praise on me and am pretty certain he wont be the last one either.
What surprises (offends) me are the well crafted and framed comments on proven legends like Mr Gavaskar and Sachin by someone whose coaching credentials were doubted by the acclaimed and most respected Aussie Legend Leg spinner. The coaching credentials were tested waters again at an IPL team this year.
There used to be a time when action used to speak louder than words but now its vice-versa. Words draw more attention that action.
At times I wonder why all these things appear just before the launch of the book.
Good luck to them.

Dear Bhajji & my dear fellow Indians,
We Indians have somehow developed this habbit of reacting to unnecessary comments, and thats how people like Buchhanan get undue attention.
My appeal to all Indians…..dont react, dont publish such things in the media, whether it is a cricket coach, or a minister. Ignore, and they wont come up with such things again. That does not even mean that we (Indians) are cowards or non-reacting. We must and should react at the proper time with our deeds and actions, rather than bringing these people in the limelight.
Proud to be an Indian.
Jai Hind !!
That’s what these Australian losers do. They can’t play on the field, get thrashed royally by India, and then go crying home to write some books with false accusations on real stars hoping to make a penny or two.
Oley oley oley Buchanan, if you want a rupee or two, I will send it to you. I feel so sad for you- after all you are a failed cricketer, failed coach, and Australian too. My sympathies are with you.
@Bhajji: I have been coming to your blog every day but your last one from SA sounded like last one for a long time
I am glad Mr. Bhookha Naan has woken you up. I am thankful to him for that otherwise I will request everyone to just ignore him.
You can take comment against you lightly and only get offended by things said against Sunil Gavaskar or Sachin; but your fans are definitely not happy with anything said against you.
sir i think coz of this issue ur blog has gained more publicity than buchanan’s crapy book..hehe.. these aussies cant beat us in this business also.. losers i say!!..
Hi bhajji,
i m happy that u r blogging…I have seen you in ur first MOM and MOS award ceremony where you were speaking in Hindi with Ravi Shastri as you are not fluent in English…But now writing blogs…vowwwwww…great Effort Bhajji….
Gud luck for ur upcoming series in SL and in SA.Cheers
Hey Bhajji,
evry1 knows his credibility as a coach..& knight riders performance at IPL hs jus proved wt poor coach he is…so u jus ignore him…& njoy ur vacations…& b prepared 4 da next series…
bhajji,
you are one of the greatest off spinners in the world cricket right now, and keep up the good work and attain new heights
Bhajji, I am not surprised either. Australians always bring up the Indian big names to sell their books. Its not the first time it has has happened, and certianly not the last.
Btw, enjoy the break from the cricket for a little while.
way to go bhajji……
Hey Bhajji please do not take that idiot’s comments seriously as we all know australians always try to pass such silly controversial comments to sell their books …we all admire the great players like Gavaskar,Sachin,Ganguly and Dravid and current players like u and juvi..trust me all cricket lovers are laughing at him…he is nothing but acting like a loser who has just lost his job…..anyways enjoy the well deserved break
Publicity - The correct word may be.
I might be wrong. But whatever so called success Mr. Great Coach got purely by the ability of aussie players game and traditional sledging. I think in his term anybody would ‘ve been look a like great coach ( perhaps me also). Even in the case of Mr. Ponting also. I never seen any great move as a captain. Like Dhoni is doing. Whole world knows that Aussies are very bad loosers.
“Buchanan”…… hey hey i dont even know the name before…
I suggest dont read the book “THE FUTURE OF CRICKET-THE RISE OF TWENTY20″…
This is not the correct way to criticise so many indians in which including Sachin … like world class players. And if you are true why you revert back when media questions you ? This is all publicity …. which he want…. for feeding his stomach.
Mr. Sadarji, Bhajji, in 2004 or 2005 (as I cannot recollect the exact year you visited Paksitan, but I know for sure it was somewhere around that time) that you paid a visit to Mr. Shahid Afridi in Karachi, Pakistan (whom you called your friend), and under this disguised visit, you then visited the Nankana Sahib shrine in Hasan Abdal located outside of Lahore. After this visit to Pakistan, you then refused to tour Pakistan with the Indian Cricket team in 2007 citing security reasons as your main reason. I’m just trying to figure out the logic behind your decision making. The so-called war on terror (and other security issues) has been going in Pakistan since 9/11, but visiting Pakistan in 2004 - when the war on terror was still on - didn’t bother you then, but then, all of a sudden in 2007, the war on terror, and especially security concerns, all of a sudden became your main focal point concern in not wanting to visit Pakistan with the Indian team - why? Can you please explain to us your twisted logic and thought processes behind this decsion to your readers? And after that did you bother calling up Shahid Afridi (your friend in Pakistan) and tell him that you weren’t going to visit Pakistan because of security reasons in Pakistan? Just guess what he might have said to you? Or might I say that under pressure from the BCCI, and especially from Mr. Sharad Pawar, Nirinjan Shah, and Lalit Modi, you decided to buckle under their pressure. Thank you, Mr. Sadarji for being so honest to us - your Indian and Pakistani Cricket followers. This just goes on prove to us all beyond a shadow of doubt, that when it comes to the matters of money - which BCCI and Indian Cricket Board - is currently holding the whole world under their ransom, you are no different than any other player in the Indian Cricket team. Money has to come before the game of Cricket. Why don’t you read the history of Indian Cricket before you open your mouth. Just go and say all this nonsense to Bhagwat Chandrashekar, or Venketraghavan, or Erapalli Prasana and other players who have played for the Indian national team for a mere $6 per test match. So much so that I even read some while back that a former Indian test player died in poverty and left nothing for his family after his death. Not even the multi-million dollar BCCI came to his family’s aid. Mr. Bhajji, take my advise as I’m a veteran player myself. I played Cricket even before you were born and I have watched Cricketing greats like Gary Sobers, Hanif Muhammad, Fazal Mahmood, Nawab of Pataudi play in action even before your father knew anything about cricket. Why don’t try to lead a humble life as all this money is not going to take you anywhere. Just look at Michael Jackson’s example - did any of his millions of dollars come to his rescue or in even extending his life? He left without taking even a penney from his millions with him, because up there, it’s not money that counts - it’s your deeds and humblness that will count for you. Sincerely, Saif Aly.
Bhajii you really bowled a doosra this time to Buchanan as you do always to every Australian who strike you.
Pitch perfect post!!! Love the acidic sarcasm =)
Like someone else has commented above - more people will head for this blog than reach for Buchanan’s book after reading all the media reports.

heah!!!!!dats ovious yaar………..dey dont even respect dre cricketers hw can u expect dem 2 respect our’s???
I have seen you only in television, playing cricket. I like Harbhajan - the bowler, because I have seen batsmen often finding it hard to face your balls. For the same reason, i am glad to get an opportunity to interact with you through this site.
Now, my thoughts regarding your latest blog. It’s a natural tendency of humans to pass remarks or comments about their fellow beings at times. Some comments get undeserved popularity when it is discussed again and again. I just have one concern. Whatever you say off the field is fine. But when you are on the field, never get provoked by anybody’s comments or actions. Such reactions may affect your career badly. Be a person with good sports man spirit when you are playing a match.
IPL 2007 saw a very disturbed and irritated Harbhajan. I think during that season you were continuously making news on passing unhealthy remarks. But i could see a “changed” Bhajji in the year 2009. I could even see you advising other youngsters in the team to cool down during similar circumstances. In the last few tournaments you were playing a wonderful gentleman’s game and that is what we (your well-wishers) are expecting from you. Way to go, Harbhajan.
I would like you to continue playing good games for India and to be one of the top bowlers in the international rating. Practice well and bring continuous improvements to your bowling so that you raise to the level of Anil Kumble who is one of greatest bowlers of all times in International cricket. I feel, if you perform a little better you can break the current records no: of wickets taken in one-day as well as in tests.
Regards
Hey Bhajji….. don’t bother about these things….. Australians are all known for sledging and everything wrong…. does anyone remember any off the aussie players for righteousness…….. they may be good players or a good team but not good sports people…. that is why they talk more and do less…..
Great job man,I never knew your english was so good.
Dear Bajji,
well said , bajji . what do you think about Ashes first test ? Ponting biggest cheater of the game , Singhs becoming KAAl for them , first they lost every battle against you and now Monty doing the honors for all Indians and English by first taking his wicket and then not giving up .. saving the match for England.
I am Based in England and am simply proud of you and Monty giving the answer to them in their language !
