We are here in Colombo, and ever since landing the only question being thrown is what happened at the Bangalore airport.

Our friends from the media are at most times in a rush and hush for stories, deadlines and footages, especially our cameraman friends. Its often seen, the edges of their camera hitting various people at varied times, be it airport, press meets almost all the places. Am sure, a number of people would testify this.
For all good sake knowledge, am attaching a video with this blog, an actual video of the exact recording of what happened at the airport. For clear understanding, I have also provided a deconstruct of the video.
A deconstruct of the video
I get down from the car, and wait to get my luggage, behind me is an armed CISF guard and officials to keep a security cover from media men and public.
Am facing the car, you can see I have no clue what is behind me. The camera man is seen running towards me and the intensity and pace with which his camera clearly hits my head and it was not like just a touch, it hit me hard on my head and patka, I am very particular of being touched and hit at my head or my patka and sure a million other would be too. As a prompt reflex, not even knowing what hit my head, I pushed the object, realizing it, after I pushed it, that it was a camera. There was a clear security cover around me. The camera man breached that cover. The CISF guard and official is seen asking the camera guy to step back as they saw him being at fault of hitting my head with his camera and crossing the security cover.
At NO STAGE DID I HIT OR SLAP THE CAMERAMAN. NEITHER WILL I EVER DO. Most media men would second this, my relationship, behaviour and cooperation with each of them has always been one of friendly nature and with cordial respect. I respect the media and the unflinching determination with which they have always brought news to the country, and connected to our fans.
Right now, for me its much more important to contribute and take India to the number 1 ODI ranking than anything else.
I look forward to your support during the times ahead, pray for me and for our team to reach the number one spot.

    Dear Bhajji

As you are aware, media is the biggest plauge killing our country. So the less you interact with them, the better. They have zero morals and ethics. So forget about them and concentrate on what you do best, taking wickets!

  4. Bhajji, your reaction was absolutely justified. These cameras, pens and mic toting media persons sometimes get on one’s nerves. You can read more details at the link given below.

WOULD LOVE TO SEE A JERSEY IN MILD BLUE WITH A LIGHT BLUE SHADE….WE WANT OUR TEAM TO BE THE BEST IN EVERYTHING….EVEN IN LOOKS..AND THE CURRENT JERSEY IS NOT AT ALL STYLISH..

    Hello Dhoni,

This is to wish you and Indian team best of luck with our prayers and wishes in the all important Champions trophy, which is a mega event. It is most lively and toughest torunament, since it gets over within 2 weeks. This is the toughest tournament, as there is no room for error here, as even one loss in group stages, can send the team packing their bags out of this tournament, but this tournament has always been very entertaining, since the fate of the all teams are known in a very short span of time.

India’s record has been good in past champions trophy, but mostly under Ganguly’s captaincy, in which India reached the final in 2000, but lost to New Zealand and one winning jointly with Sri- Lanka in 2002. Ganguly used a very smart tactic, and he made Dravid wicket keeper, to accomodate one more batsman, and most importantly send Dravid fifth down in the batting order. This tactic worked very well for two reasons, as Dravid was at the peak of his form during that time and stabalized the inning, if early wicket fell and he balanced it very well, since his defence is quite strong. Sehwag was to do the early hitting, and if he failed, then Dravid steadied the innings and players like him who can play long innings are crucial in big tournaments like Champions trophy.

I’m sorry to say, but this is a fact Yousuf Pathan is wrong selection for one dayers, he can at the most get quick 20’s and 30’s in 20-20, but he is not the sort of guy who can play a sheet anchor role or guide the team in one dayers, because of his poor technique and loose approach and jittery against high quality bowling It is also good to see Rohit Sharma, who is superstar in IPL and useless flop player in international cricket is not playing. Now come Raina, who is also average and not so good against high pace bowling and can be rattled easily and he always jumps up and down facing quick bowlers. Same goes with Virat Kohli and other young guys who are average one day players. Sometimes, it is hard to understand what Dinesh Karthik is doing in one day team, as he may be just there to serve as reserved wicket keeper, and else he is ordinary player.

Of late, India’s fast bowling has become very weak. Nehra doesn’t have the same zeal, Ishant is hammered by everyone. Why India can’t produce one genuine quick fast bowler, and all these bowlers when they first appear in international cricket, they are quick and after one or two series, they become medium pace. Swing bowlers like Praveen kumar would be more useful than Nehra in south Africa

Key Players in demanding and highly intense Champions trophy will be experienced players like great Tendulkar who is genuis, then steady gambhir, yuvraj is dangerous, dhoni with second best batting average in one day cricket history that is 50.6 after Michael Bevan 54.5 average is good, then dravid like a wall, but young members will need to pull their socks up specially to play bouncers well, because in T-20 world cup, England and West Indies used it very well against certain weak Indian players like Raina and Yusuf Pathan on bouncy tracks like England and South Africa, but we hope we don’t miss Sehwag who can take the game away in first initial overs. Everything happened because of IPL.

Anyways, any team can win CT, but we would love to see India in semi final at least, and anything above that will be bonus, since we are missing some key players in out side…. we have great captain like dhoni, so good luck, inshallah and shubkamnaye.

why do you not bowl flight deliveries often. you can take lot of wickets if you also include flight deliveries in your bowling.
